Brattleboro Savings & Loan Selects Deborah Stephenson as Next President & CEO

Brattleboro Savings & Loan is a $300MM mutual savings bank based in Brattleboro, VT. Being a mutual savings bank means it exists for the benefit of all their depositors, their community, and their employees. Virtually all the funds deposited at BS&L get reinvested back into the surrounding communities, supporting local mortgages, businesses, and consumers. At the conclusion of the search, BS&L selected Deborah Stephenson to succeed Daniel Yates as the Bank’s next President & CEO. After beginning her career as a Safety & Soundness Examiner with the FDIC, Deborah spent the next twenty-five years in leadership positions that included human resources, compliance, retail banking, and regulatory management. Most recently, Deborah was the Senior Executive Vice President of Compliance & Regulatory for Berkshire Bank.
