The New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Fund (NHHEAF) has nearly 60 years of experience in helping New Hampshire families plan and pay for higher education. NHHEAF provides K-12 and postsecondary students and schools with expertise in every aspect of the student loan industry.
Consistent with their strategic plan for growing the organization, NHHEAF retained Smith & Wilkinson on a search for their first General Counsel to provide oversight and direction in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks associated with the organization’s assets, reputation, and strategic objectives. NHHEAF selected Blessing Chimwanda for this leadership position.
Blessing earned a BS in Marketing, an MBA from St. John’s University, and a JD from The Catholic University of America. After spending twelve years in banking, Blessing joined Stride Funding as Chief Compliance Officer & Acting General Counsel in 2022.
