Certified Financial Planner

S&W has been retained by SalemFive (www.salemfive.com) to manage the search for a Certified Financial Planner (“CFP”) to join the bank’s Investment Services team.

With $6.2B in total bank assets, Salem Five is the 4th largest bank headquartered in Massachusetts and the state’s largest mutual bank. The bank’s 600+ team members serve their commercial, retail, wealth management, and insurance customers through a comprehensive product set, a full suite of online and mobile banking solutions, and 35 retail locations throughout eastern Massachusetts. As a mutual bank, the bank is owned and governed by its deposits, allowing it to take a long-term view of success based on prudent balance sheet management and a commitment to the communities where it operates. The bank is in sound financial condition, notably with excellent capital, asset quality, and efficiency. Given its longevity, size, and financial strength, SalemFive is one of the premier community banking franchises in the country.

Reporting to the President of SalemFive Investment Services, the CFP will work with an existing and established client base to provide unbiased financial recommendations. Working collaboratively with Financial Advisors and leveraging industry-leading planning software, the CFP will create customized and in-depth financial plans for clients. Candidates with appropriate securities licenses (7, 65, or 66) who can assist clients with rebalancing accounts are of particular interest. For additional information about this unique and client-centric role with one of eastern Massachusetts’s premier banking franchises, please contact a member of the S&W search team: Cameron Boyd, Managing Partner, Financial Services (cboyd@smithandwilkinson.com) or Nathan Townsend, Partner, Financial Services (ntownsend@smithandwilkinson.com).
