Our client, a private equity-backed specialty insurance platform, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to help scale and centralize the finance function across a growing portfolio of newly acquired and de novo Property & Casualty MGA partners of varying size and scale.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will serve as a strategic business partner while remaining equally engaged in the operational execution required to build a scalable finance organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strengthening internal controls, GAAP reporting, financial planning, consolidations, insurance accounting, and multi-entity financial oversight through M&A, while also advising Boards of Directors, partnering with private equity sponsors, supporting acquisitions and integrations, and helping shape long-term growth strategy.
Existing accounting teams will continue to manage the day-to-day accounting within each portfolio company; the CFO’s responsibility is to provide executive financial leadership across the platform by ensuring accounting standards are met, controls are strengthened, reporting is standardized, and the financial infrastructure is built to support continued growth.
Qualified candidates will have 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience within a Property & Casualty insurance carrier, MGA, or program administrator, including experience leading both the strategic and hands-on aspects of a growing finance organization through M&A opportunities. Candidates are ideally based in the Dallas, TX area or willing to travel to Dallas approximately one week per month to work closely with executive leadership.
A highly competitive compensation package, including market-leading base salary, annual bonus, and meaningful equity participation, is offered.
