Chief People Officer

Our client is a $3B credit union based in Northern New England and boasts over 1,600 members and nearly 500 employees.

The Chief People Officer (CPO) will be responsible to develop increasing focus and capacity on culture transformation that not only aligns with our developing brand, values and purpose but elevates them. Concurrently, this role will lead the discovery and implementation of efficiencies in HR functions that are transactional in nature, facilitating potential alignments with other operational areas of the organization and/or external partnerships. The goal being to reinvest capacity and resource gains back into organizational development, reflecting culture as our key value differentiator and competitive advantage.

The CPO is responsible for the development and execution of HR and organizational development strategy in support of the business plan and strategic direction of the organization. The incumbent helps to create a competitive advantage by fostering the development of a company culture that allows employees to thrive in all aspects of the employee life cycle. Serves as an advisor to the CEO, board, and senior leadership peers.
