Our established, workers comp MGA is diversifying their offerings and seeking a seasoned Casualty Underwriting Leader to build and manage a new Liability & Excess program from the ground up.
Backed by committed carrier capacity, proprietary technology, significant existing distribution across retail and wholesale brokers to tap into, this is a unique opportunity with full P&L ownership and authority over underwriting strategy, appetite, pricing, and program design.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of commercial primary and excess casualty (GL, auto liability, and specialty) underwriting experience, a strong track record of managing $10mill GWP books of middle-market risks across any mix or concentration in construction, manufacturing, agribusiness, hospitality, retail, and auto dealerships, and underwriting guidelines/ product development experience.
This role offers the autonomy of launching your own casualty program while leveraging the infrastructure, carrier relationships, capital, and national broker network of an established MGA platform.
