Smith & Wilkinson has been retained by Kennebec Savings Bank, (KSB) to manage the search for the bank’s next Senior Commercial Credit Officer.
Reporting to the bank’s COO, the Senior Commercial Credit Officer is responsible for overseeing the bank’s commercial credit function while directing the daily operations and staff of the commercial credit department. Responsibilities include managing the underwriting of the bank’s new and existing commercial credit portfolio in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner; driving strategy for effective portfolio management in an ever-changing environment; and actively participating in revisions to the bank’s Loan Policy, including recommending changes to the loan approval process as needed. This position requires strong commercial credit experience, effective communication and coaching skills, and solid leadership capabilities.
