Our fast-growing global specialty carrier seeks an experienced Senior Program Commercial Underwriter to help expand their E&S construction book of business.
The ideal candidate knows the casualty E&S Construction space well and is familiar with West Coast and East Coast and casualty risk exposures. This candidate must also possess a working knowledge of underwriting guidelines, standards, rates, key forms, endorsements, and exclusions.
In this high-level underwriting role, you will oversee the onboarding and vetting of new program opportunities, beginning to end. You will also work closely with all other departments including the product development and compliance teams to manage these products appropriately.
This is not a production underwriting role. You will be relying on your construction underwriting expertise to help these construction programs evolve.
In this role you will lean on your analytical approach to support your decision making and portfolio management, as well as your excellent communication and negotiation skills to directly impact outcomes.
