Vice President, Senior Trust Officer

Every organization has a backstory, and Passumpsic Bank’s dates to 1853. A long time, yes, but we make it a point to get younger as we grow older. We’re happy to delve into history over coffee sometime, but we’re more excited about what lies ahead. Our focus is on helping to grow the communities we serve by investing in them economically, socially, and culturally. Passumpsic Bank is a company inspired by that profound opportunity, and we want all of our Team Passumpsic members to feel that inspiration.

The opportunities start within our walls. We want people with drive, passion, and vision to join us. We want every employee who walks through our doors to know the possibilities are endless. We’ve had entry level tellers become executives, including our last president. Yes, the president of the bank. We want more of those stories. If you’re ready to start yours, we can’t wait to meet you.

Today, Passumpsic Bank is indeed a modern, diversified community bank, with total assets approaching $842MM, and ten branch offices on either side of the Connecticut River throughout northeastern Vermont and northern New Hampshire. The bank boasts a Tier 1 Risk-based Capital Ratio of 18.31% (ending 3/31/24). Passumpsic Bank has been named a Top 200 Community Bank in the U.S. by American Banker and a Forbes Best-in-State Bank three years running, currently #1 in Vermont.

In 1998, the Bank created an important division, Passumpsic Financial Advisors. Today, this division has over $377MM in AUM and delivers significant fee income to the Bank. Due to the Bank’s succession planning efforts and continued growth, the position of Senior Trust Officer has been created.

The Senior Trust Officer will be responsible for the administration of personal trust accounts according to the instructions of principals, donors, and beneficiaries by fulfilling requests for distributions, answering questions, and providing tax information.
