The VP of Compliance will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for ensuring Credit Union compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidance. They will serve as the designated Credit Union Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) officer and be responsible for maintaining and administering the Credit Union’s BSA Program. This person will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing all Credit Union policies to ensure compliance with state and federal laws. They will also develop and maintain relationships with third-party compliance resources, perform reviews of all Credit Union contracts, and provide recommendations to mitigate legal and regulatory risks. Additionally, they will compile and issue reports that detail their conclusions and provide recommendations for improving compliance policies and practices across all segments of the organization. Finally, they will keep management informed of emerging compliance and regulatory risks to the organization.
