Smith and Wilkinson is currently working with a client of ours on a search for a manager within their Special Assets Group (SAG). The role will oversee the existing team as well as have responsibility for further growth within the department. The incumbent will not only be responsible for strategy and direction of the team and function but will serve as the subject matter expert on complex restructuring, liquidation and asset sale scenarios as they arise to protect the organization’s capital. Ideal candidates will have a background and experience working with complex transactions with complex structured finance transactions, middle-market working capital solutions and government guaranteed lending programs and prior leadership experience.
