East Cambridge Savings Bank Selects Timothy Buckley as EVP, Chief Financial Officer

May 2026 – Smith & Wilkinson was retained by East Cambridge Savings Bank to manage the search and selection process for the Bank’s next Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.

The EVP, Chief Financial Officer oversees the Bank’s finance and accounting functions and serves as a strategic partner to the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board. The Bank sought an experienced banking executive with the financial judgment, regulatory credibility, and strategic perspective to guide balance sheet management, support sustainable growth, and preserve the Bank’s mutual culture and community-focused mission.

Smith & Wilkinson is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Buckley as the Bank’s next Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Buckley brings more than 30 years of financial services experience, including senior finance leadership roles with Bank of America, Citizens Bank, and most recently 42 North Private Bank. His background combines banking and accounting expertise with experience advising executive teams and boards, managing through complex financial environments, and aligning financial strategy with broader organizational objectives.
