Hanscom Federal Credit Union Selects Patrick Martin as SVP, Enterprise Integration & Transformation

June 2026 – Smith & Wilkinson was retained by Hanscom Federal Credit Union (HFCU) to manage the search and selection process for its inaugural SVP, Enterprise Integration & Transformation.

With more than $2.2 billion in assets and a growing footprint across Massachusetts, Maryland, and Virginia, HFCU is entering a significant period of growth and transformation. Following its acquisition of The Peoples Bank, planned merger with Alden Credit Union, and an upcoming enterprise core conversion, the organization sought an experienced transformation leader to oversee enterprise integration initiatives while building the governance, structure, and cross-functional alignment necessary to support its continued growth.

Smith & Wilkinson is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Martin as HFCU’s inaugural SVP, Enterprise Integration & Transformation. Martin brings more than 20 years of experience leading complex technology and enterprise transformation initiatives across the banking industry, including large-scale mergers and acquisitions, core banking conversions, digital transformation initiatives, and enterprise program management for financial institutions nationwide. Most recently, he has advised banks and credit unions on enterprise integration and core conversion initiatives, including implementations involving Corelation Keystone, Fiserv DNA, and Jack Henry platforms.

Martin was selected for his combination of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and experience guiding organizations through complex enterprise change. His background leading cross-functional initiatives, establishing governance frameworks, managing vendor relationships, and delivering core conversions aligns well with HFCU’s long-term strategic priorities as it continues to invest in innovation, scalability, and member experience.

In his new role, Martin will lead HFCU’s enterprise integration and transformation efforts, providing executive oversight for the organization’s upcoming core system conversion while supporting broader merger integration initiatives and enterprise-wide operational transformation.
