Smith & Wilkinson and Main Street Bank Hires New Chief Commercial Lending Officer
September 2025 – Smith & Wilkinson partnered with Main Street Bank in the selection of the bank’s Chief Commercial Lending Officer, Jessica Royce.
In collaboration with bank leadership, S&W tailored a recruitment strategy to identify and attract commercial banking talent capable of leading one of the bank’s most important business lines and profit centers. Reporting to the bank’s CEO, the Chief Commercial Lending Officer would be responsible for driving strategic growth, enhancing and expanding key business client relationships, and leading a tenured team of commercial banking professionals.
Following the vetting and evaluation of commercial banking leaders from across eastern, central, and western Massachusetts, the bank selected Jessica Royce. Royce most recently served as SVP, Commercial Lending-East Region Team Leader for Country Bank, where she led a high-performing team of commercial lenders and personally managed a large and diverse commercial loan portfolio. Her prior roles included individual contributor production roles for Country Bank and Auburn-based Webster Five. In addition to commercial lending leadership and production roles, Royce’s background includes 8 years in Commercial Credit. A resident of Sutton, she is a graduate of Nichols College.
