November 2025 — Smith & Wilkinson was retained by a leading national program administrator to identify an experienced Excess Casualty Underwriter to support continued growth within their construction-focused portfolio. The ideal candidate needed a strong middle-market background, hands-on experience managing new business submissions, and deep familiarity with complex exposures such as builder’s risk.
After an extensive national search, we placed a veteran E&S casualty underwriter with more than two decades of experience spanning construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and real estate-related risks. Known for building long-standing broker relationships and driving new business growth in new production, their proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments and underwrite a wide range of classes made them a perfect fit to help our client expand their construction casualty capabilities nationwide.
