Our established MGA client is growing and looking for a Commercial Property/ Casualty Binding Underwriter to help scale a fast-growing E&S binding operation. This role sits at the center of brokerage and binding activity, handling new and renewal business across a wide mix of risks including habitational, contractors, retail, restaurants, trucking, commercial auto, and other hard-to-place accounts.
We’re looking for a production-minded underwriter with a sales mentality who will pick up the phone, build relationships with retail agents and carrier partners, and find creative ways to get deals done rather than simply process submissions.
You’ll help grow a developing E&S platform with expanding binding markets and new specialty programs, managing your own book while contributing to the build-out of a team currently scaling beyond its core group. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of binding authority experience, some market relationships, and the drive to hunt for opportunities.
