We’re seeking a Surety Program Manager to join a growing MGA, supporting the launch of a new surety practice in Canada and the U.S. This hands-on role will manage and contribute to the day-to-day underwriting of construction and bid bonds, present and negotiate with new capacity partners, build a new go to market strategy in the US, and continue evolving the existing surety team and surety portfolio.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of construction surety underwriting/ book management experience for a carrier or MGA of $20mill GWP and up, a strong track record of securing carrier partnerships, and prior team management.
This is a remote U.S.-based role with direct impact on shaping a new surety practice.
