Municipal CU is thrilled to announce the appointment of Michael Savino as its new Chief Lending Officer

January 18, 2024. Municipal Credit Union is excited to welcome Isaac Zahavi as their new Vice President of IS. Mr. Zahavi has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry with a deep knowledge of technology and cyber security. Prior to joining Municipal CU, Mr. Zahavi worked as the Vic President CISO at Northfield Bank.

Founded in 1916, Municipal Credit Union is New York City’s oldest credit union, serving over 600,000 members, including thousands of police, fire fighters, nurses, and the other everyday heroes that keep the city running.  MCU operates 16 branches and has nearly $4.5B in assets.
