S&W has been retained by Kennebunk Savings Bank (“KSB”) to lead the search for the Agency Director of its insurance subsidiary, Kennebunk Savings Insurance (“KSI”).
KSB is a purpose and innovation driven community bank that has been serving the financial needs of its consumer and small business customers since its founding in 1871. With over $1.8 billion in total assets, the bank is the 6th largest headquartered in Maine and offers a full suite of personal and business loan and deposit solutions, delivered via both personal service at retail locations in York County, Maine and the New Hampshire seacoast as well as through online and mobile channels. KSB is in sound financial condition, notably with strong capital and asset quality, and is primarily a real estate lender, with approximately 96% of its $1.4 billion loan portfolio in 1-4 family residential and commercial real estate loans. The bank is mutually owned, and a fantastic corporate citizen, contributing 10% of its after-tax earnings back to the nonprofit community, which has equated to over $14MM since 1994. With a new corporate headquarters, a customer-first culture, and a planned leadership transition, KSB is poised to be the best of what a modern, local mutual bank can be.
The KSI Agency Director will lead a 25-year-old subsidiary that offers both personal and commercial insurance solutions. Through both organic growth and two acquisitions, KSI has grown into a team of almost 30 tenured and knowledgeable professionals who have differentiated the company on its level of customer satisfaction, reflected in its outstanding policy retention rate. We are seeking outstanding insurance talent with a proven track record of providing vision for the growth of businesses, deep industry expertise, and a demonstrated history of leading and motivating insurance professionals.
