Our high-growth program administrator & MGA client is seeking an experienced Chief Reinsurance Officer to lead the design, placement, and ongoing management of program-specific reinsurance structures across a diversified specialty portfolio.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in MGA/MGU reinsurance strategy, with strong, established relationships across the domestic and global reinsurance market. This role is best suited for someone who has significant experience placing reinsurance for individual programs—not traditional carrier treaty placements—and that understands unique structures within the program business model.
This executive will have a proven track record of securing capacity for MGA and program business across commercial, personal, and specialty lines, and the credibility to advance programs through reinsurer panels. Experience at a leading reinsurance brokerage or within an MGA, carrier, or hybrid platform supporting program business is highly valued. The role partners closely with underwriting, legal, and finance teams and represents the company at key industry events.
