Our client, a commercial and personal property & casualty fronting carrier, is seeking a VP, Program Underwriting to join its growing platform. This individual will play a critical role in managing up to 10 program partners across a mix of P&C lines, partnering closely with underwriting leadership to ensure strong performance, discipline, and governance as each program continues to scale.
The role is highly focused on portfolio oversight and underwriting audits: reviewing program business, evaluating adherence to guidelines, analyzing bordereaux, managing referrals, and leading monthly performance reviews, while collaborating with actuarial, finance, and program operations teams.
The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of commercial P&C underwriting experience, including both individual account underwriting and program/portfolio exposure, with a strong technical foundation and any working knowledge of reinsurance (particularly at the facultative level).
This is a high-impact, non-production role suited for a detail-oriented underwriter who enjoys deep analytical work and relationship management. Position is fully remote, comes with LTI, and joins a collaborative and high performing team.
