August 5, 2024. Adams Community Bank is pleased to welcome Julie Fallon Hughes as their next President & CEO. Ms. Fallon Hughes brings over 25 years of expertise in multiple banking disciplines and is experienced in leading teams through significant organizational change. She has held key roles at First Indiana Bank, M&I Bank, BMO Harris Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and most recently served as the Southwest PA and Ohio Region President at Northwest Bank.

On May 1, 1869, a charter was granted to a group of ten local businessmen to open and operate a bank in Adams, Massachusetts. Two months later, on July 1st, South Adams Savings Bank was born. Fast forward to 2012, South Adams Savings Bank merged with Adams Co-operative Bank to form Adams Community Bank. In 2015, Adams Community Bank acquired The Lenox National Bank to better serve the people and communities across the Berkshires. With over 150 years of service to their community, Adams Community Bank has built a lasting reputation for providing high-quality customer service, competitive rates, and charitable giving.
