Augment Risk is pleased to announce its new Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) Division, led by Thad Hall, Partner, Head of ILS Solutions.  The team consists of Jeffrey Reinhart, Head of ILS Origination, Thomas Carey, Head of Capital Markets, Winnie Yinglei Chen, Associate Partner Data Science, and Andrew Mellinger, Associate Partner. This division will help enable clients to access private, institutional capital-backing reinsurance structures that are underpinned by sophisticated statistical models.

Augment Risk is a global specialist capital solutions intermediary, specializing in designing and placing  prospective reinsurance and retrospective capital and legacy structures for P&C clients. Launched in 2023, Augment boasts over USD 100 million in capital, made available by Altamont Capital Partners, and maintains a global presence in the US, UK, Bermuda, EU, and Cayman.

The recruitment of the ILS team  was successfully managed by Stacy St. Onge, Managing Partner of the Insurance Practice.
