Finding Hanscom Federal Credit Union’s New Director of HR

May 2025 – Smith & Wilkinson has helped place Nancy English as Hanscom Federal Credit Union’s next Director of Human Resources.

Hanscom Federal Credit Union came to Smith & Wilkinson with a unique challenge: find a Director of Human Resources who could lead an innovative HR strategy while embodying the organization’s deep commitment to supporting the overall wellness of military members, veterans, and their families.

Based on our close working relationship with the CHRO, we were trusted to identify candidates that could bring a new, innovative perspective and set of experiences to the role and organization. We knew that the ideal candidate would need to bring both strong technical expertise and a passion for community impact.

We targeted a search strategy focused on uncovering candidates with fresh, innovative perspectives and diverse, cross-industry experience. Nancy English quickly emerged as the standout candidate due to her background spanning healthcare, financial services, and agriculture. With this rare combination of adaptability, strategic thinking, and people-first leadership, she was the perfect fit for Hanscom FCU.

A big thank you to Moriah Maron and Cameron Boyd for their dedication to placing the right fit for this role. Their work demonstrates Smith & Wilkinson’s ability to go beyond matching résumés to job descriptions, finding leaders who embody the spirit, values, and future vision of the organizations they join.
