December 18, 2023.  Municipal Credit Union is delighted to welcome Evelyn Shyposh as its new Director of Audit. With over 30 years of valuable experience in the banking industry, Ms. Shyposh has held key roles at Chase Bank, Shawmut Bank, Nations Bank, AT&T, Synergy Bank, Spector Forest and Associates, Lakeland Bank, New Jersey Credit Union League, and most recently served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Merck Employees Federal Credit Union.

Founded in 1916, Municipal Credit Union is New York City’s oldest credit union, serving over 600,000 members, including thousands of police, fire fighters, nurses, and the other everyday heroes that keep the city running.  MCU operates 16 branches and has nearly $4.5B in assets.
