Smith and Wilkinson has been retained by Katahdin Trust Company on a search for their next Senior Credit Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining credit policies and procedures to ensure the health and alignment of our credit portfolio with strategic goals and regulatory requirements. You will evaluate complex loan applications based on established criteria, conduct comprehensive financial analyses, and assess risks at transaction, relationship, and portfolio levels. Additionally, as the Senior Credit Officer, you will oversee the preparation of risk assessment reports, identify problem loans, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks effectively. Your expertise will contribute to negotiating terms of loans and credit with corporate clients and lenders, and you will actively participate in the development of new credit products and services.
